The choral masterpieces of Mozart’s Requiem and Masonic Funeral Music take place in collaboration with the 40-strong prestigious Italian choir of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia with the participation of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. This unique production takes place under the musical direction of Conductor Mro Lawrence Renes.

Mozart composed part of the Requiem in Vienna in late 1791, but it was unfinished at his death on 5 December the same year. A completed version of Mozart’s Requiem dated 1792 by Franz Xaver Süssmayr was delivered to Count Franz von Walsegg, who commissioned the piece for a requiem service to commemorate the anniversary of his wife's death on 14 February. Mozart’s “Masonic funeral music” was composed in 1785. This is a short but extremely poignant work, considered one of Mozart's absolute masterpieces, but rarely performed due to the uniqueness of its original orchestration: 2 Oboes, 1 Clarinet, 3 Basset Horns, 1 Contrabassoon, 2 Horns and Strings.

The Promoter/Venue Owner reserve the right to refuse admission to any persons, aged 12+, who do not present a valid vaccination certificate as per regulations published by the Health Department.
Temperature scanning and contact tracing regulations as published by the Health Department will be followed and implemented.
No refund on tickets will be made under any circumstances unless otherwise instructed by the event organiser. In the case of a refund being issued for tickets bought, refund will be issued on the Ticket face value, and ShowsHappening booking fee will NOT be refunded.
Venue Owner reserves the right without refund or compensation to refuse admission to any persons whose conduct is disorderly or unbecoming.
The Promoter may add, withdraw or substitute artistes and/or vary advertised programmes, event times, seating arrangements and audience capacity without prior notice.
The Promoter/Venue Owner may postpone, cancel,interrupt or stop the event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other causes beyond his reasonable control.
Information is collected from those registering with www.showshappening.com in order to facilitate ticket purchase or other services available. This information is collected and used in accordance with ShowsHappening's Privacy Policy, which forms part of these conditions.
In the event of an event being cancelled, postponed or unsatisfactory, or in the event that Buyer is not allowed to watch the event for any reason, SHOWSHAPPENING cannot be held responsible for any liability including any costs whatsoever incurred by the Buyer in connection with the said event.
