2. Information collected when you visit ShowsHappening

When you register or buy ticket(s) the following information is collected. When you purchase a ticket for an event this data is passed onto the respective organiser and in this instance ShowsHappening acts as the Data Processor. We pass on the information to the organisers solely and specifically for such organiser to be able to make contact you, the ticket holder if, for instance, the event is cancelled or otherwise postponed.

If you have opted in to receiving promotional updates from the promoters of the events that you attend, then we will allow only those promoters to access your email address for the purpose of sending you promotional material. It is important to note that you may opt in to all the promoters you have bought tickets for, or none. So for example if you have opted in and bought a ticket for Promoter A, and attended an event of Promoter B , then both Promoter A and B will have access to your email address. If you ever decide to opt out, then you can update your settings to opt out, or you may can decide to opt out from the promoter's newsletter.

Promotional material is usually the announcement of an event, or announcement of ticket sales - and we all know how much everyone loves front row centre seats!

You can always check, amend or delete what details we have on file from your ShowsHappening profile.

  • Whether you have opted in to receiving promotional material from the promoters of the events you buy tickets for;

ShowsHappening may collect anonymous statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, ShowsHappening may monitor the most popular events. ShowsHappening may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, ShowsHappening does not disclose personally-identifying information nor information about specific users.
