DRAGO is a play inspired by the life of the legendary Maltese professional snooker and pool player Tony Drago, better known within his own snooker circles as Tornado Tony. Known for his speed around the table, he’s won two professional titles: the 1993 Strachan Challenge Event 3 and the 1996 Guangzhou Masters. His combination of exceptionally fast play and emotional temperament have made Tony a popular character in the snooker world. This biographical work will be penned by writer André Mangion, and will focus on the life of the fiery Drago who’s been known to throw around the occasional cue or two. All bets are off for this production.

Co-production by the Valletta Cultural Agency and Teatru Malta.
This evening is intended for a mature audience (16+) and will be in Maltese.

Organiser/Promoter/Venue (“Organiser”) Terms and Conditions

In addition to those terms and conditions outlined below by ShowsHappening, any attendee of the Event agrees that:
  • The Promoter/Venue Owner reserve the right to refuse admission to any persons, aged 12+, who do not present a valid vaccination certificate as per regulations published by the Health Department.
  • Temperature scanning and contact tracing regulations as published by the Health Department will be followed and implemented.
  • No refund on tickets will be made under any circumstances unless otherwise instructed by the event organiser. In the case of a refund being issued for tickets bought, refund will be issued on the Ticket face value, and ShowsHappening booking fee will NOT be refunded.
  • Venue Owner reserves the right without refund or compensation to refuse admission to any persons whose conduct is disorderly or unbecoming.
  • The Promoter may add, withdraw or substitute artists and/or vary advertised programmes, event times, seating arrangements and audience capacity without prior notice.
  • The Promoter/Venue Owner may postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other causes beyond his reasonable control.
  • Information is collected from those registering with www.showshappening.com in order to facilitate ticket purchase or other services available. This information is collected and used in accordance with ShowsHappening's Privacy Policy, which forms part of these conditions.
  • In the event of an event being cancelled, postponed or unsatisfactory, or in the event that Buyer is not allowed to watch the event for any reason, SHOWSHAPPENING cannot be held responsible for any liability including any costs whatsoever incurred by the Buyer in connection with the said event.
  • It is your responsibility to check your tickets.

What are Booking Fees?

Booking Fees (BF) are added to each ticket bought online and include VAT, your receipt is also sent to you seperately. Without these booking fees, we would not be able to provide you with this ticketing service. Included in the booking fees are server maintenance, customer service, account and audit costs, secure server maintenance and development costs, and a number of other costs involved in providing ShowsHappening; a Maltese registered Ltd. company (C60339).

The booking fee is not refundable under any circumstances, even if the promoter cancels the event and asks us to return your ticket money.

Our aim is to make online ticketing in Malta as easy and hassle free as possible for both ticket buyers and event organisers.
