Week 4: November 2022 Open Classes with Stéphane Aubry

Tuesday 8th - Saturday 12th November 2022

Time: 10:00–11.15

Location: ŻfinMalta Studios, Valletta

“We define classical dance by its technical and aesthetic principles, which are: "l'en-dehors" and balance, a spirit of rigor and transparency, as well as concern for elegance and purity of the movement.  During the class, we focus on applying its principles, but at the same time, moving away from French academicism to come within reach of more neoclassical styles; beginning a la barre” and then moving to centre practice, we will take care of technique, considering anatomical concepts, rhythm and dynamism.”
