Description

Join April company classes with ŻfinMalta National Dance Company, where professional dancers and advanced students (recommended age 18+) are invited to join the company for their morning warm-up class.  



From the 13th-17th April, join international guest artist Louise Bennett (Artistic Director of London Vocational Ballet School, former Artistic Director of London Youth Ballet,) for professional company class. Louise’s ballet class focus on finding natural movement in ballet technique through strong foundations and precise muscular engagement. Dancers are encouraged to explore their technique and presentation in a supportive and nurturing environment.



Louise trained at The Royal Ballet School and danced with The Royal Swedish Ballet, Norwegian National Ballet and English National Ballet. Upon finishing her performing career, Louise worked as a Ballet Master at Ballett am Rhein in Düsseldorf, and as Artistic Director of National Youth Ballet’s Performance Company. She is also a freelance guest ballet teacher, choreographer and rehearsal director and has been invited to teach classes at companies including The Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Ballet Black, Ballett Zürich, and Ballet de l’Opéra du Rhin. Louise has created choreographic works for institutions including The Royal Ballet School, National Youth Ballet, Ballet Central, London Vocational Ballet School and Outside Edge Theatre Company.


 

Since 2024, Louise has been the Artistic Director of London Vocational Ballet School, a full time vocational and academic school for students aged 10-16, based in West London.
