VALLETTA

Fun fact, the capital city used to be the original nightlife city here in Malta, however, when Paceville came along, it attracted most of the younger generation away from the island’s capital. In fact, just a couple of years ago, the city centre fell quiet every night when office workers and shopkeepers left for the evening. Today, things have definitely changed! Valletta has recreated itself, and nowadays, it’s more of an upmarket alternative to Paceville, attracting a slightly older crowd with its pubs and fashionable bars. In fact, it seems like each day, a new spot is popping up, offering new and refreshing experiences! Given the massive choice of bars and pubs, bar hopping is a great option here too! The area close to Strait Street (which was known as the red-light district full of sailors’ bars) is one of the liveliest!

CAFE DEL MAR

Cafe del Mar is one of the Malta’s top beach clubs, and one the place to be for parties in the summer. The location is fantastic, sitting at the water’s edge, overlooking the sea and also enjoying spectacular sunsets. You can relax, have a nice swim and enjoy a drink by the pool. During the day, Cafe del Mar is known for its cool ambiance and chill-out music. In fact, they often have special guest DJs to entertain the crowd as they enjoy the rest of their surroundings. The shift from day to night, from a relaxing ambience to a club-type ambience, is what makes this entertainment destination so special!

PACEVILLE

Located in the town of St Julian’s is Malta’s most famous nightlife district, Paceville! If you’re looking for non-stop parties and late-night dancing, this is the place to be! With the largest concentration of clubs and bars on the island, it’s a destination for both visitors and young locals. Whatever style of music or type of club you’re after, Paceville has it all.

Apart from bars and clubs, Paceville is also home to many casinos, cinemas and gentlemen’s clubs. Given the ample clubs, bars and pubs to choose from, you can easily bar hop the night away! On the other hand, if you prefer starting your night out with some food in your belly, there also many places where you can dine at, offering all types of cuisines. This is a great way to start the night and then you can choose a lounge to dance the rest of your night away!

UNO MALTA

Another popular spot for club-goers is Uno Malta, located in the middle of Ta Qali's crafts village, Attard. Fun fact, this club is the largest open-air club in Malta and Gozo, with a capacity of over 4,000 people. It comes with a mixture of palm trees, huts, stairways, platforms, bars, passageways, and themed areas which contribute to the club’s unmistakable and unmatched vibe. The venue was totally refurbished and reopened in 2002 and has been a huge success with locals and tourists alike up ever since.
