Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi will be performing in Malta for the first time, holding a concert at the Floriana Granaries next Saturday, July 2!

Did you know that his single “Bruises”, released in March 2017, amassed close to 28 million plays on Spotify worldwide, making him the fastest ever unsigned artist to reach 25 million plays on this platform? Later on, his 2019 single "Someone You Loved" was the best-selling single of 2019 in the United Kingdom, and shortly after in May 2020, it was announced that this had become the longest-running Top 10 UK single of all time by a British artist!

The UK’s Eurovision Space Man, is coming to Malta on the 17 July, at Fort Manoel in Gzira!

Sam Ryder is a British singer-songwriter that shot to fame through TikTok, after posting music covers during the first lockdown of the COVID-19 pandemic back in March 2020. He managed to get the attention of renowned artists such as Sia, Justin Bieber, Alicia Keys and Elton John. By the end of the same year, he became the most-followed UK artist on the platform!

Some of Malta’s top artists and Eurovision darlings will be joining Ryder in his performance, with Destiny, Kurt Calleja, Red Electrick and Ryan Hili set to take the stage.

Fun fact: Sam is vegan and once owned a vegan café in Coggeshall in England.

Opera legend Plácido Domingo will be joining Joseph Calleja as a special guest at the Maltese tenor’s 25th anniversary concert which will be held in the spectacular surroundings of Fort Manoel on the 26 July 2022.

He has recorded over a hundred complete operas and is well known for his versatility, performing regularly in Italian, French, German, Spanish, English and even Russian in some of the most prestigious opera houses across the globe! Domingo has also achieved significant success as a crossover artist, especially in the genres of Latin and popular music, winning fourteen Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards!

Matthias Paul, known as Paul van Dyk, is a German DJ and one of the most important names in the dance and electronic music industry. Van Dyk was the first artist to receive a Grammy Award nomination in the newly added category of Best Dance/Electronic album for his 2003 release “Reflections”.

He has been in the industry for over two decades, and is returning to Malta right after hitting the number one radio spot once again with his newly released “In Your Arms” version of “For an Angel”.
