Eurovision fever is in the air and Malta's very own Emma Muscat will be taking to the stage in the second semi-final on Thursday 12th May. 


Here are some fun facts about Malta’s young and talented artist!

1. Apart from composing music and writing lyrics, Emma is also an accomplished pianist.




2. She has participated in the popular Italian talent show, Amici di Maria De Filippi, and managed to get all the way to the semi-finals!




3. Emma had no knowledge of Italian prior to her entry in the Italian talent show! She is now very fluent, and has also launched singles in Italian!




4. In June 2018, at the age of 18, she signed a recording contract with record label Warner Music Italy.




5. Emma’s debut album, Moments, reached the top 3 of the Italian albums chart!




6. She has supported the likes of Jason Derulo, Hailee Steinfeld, Sigala, Martin Garrix, Bebe Rexha and Ava Max.




7. She has a younger brother named Kurt who dabbles in music as well!
