Description
Lead by guest conductor Gabriele Conti, KorMalta presents an intimate evening of late nineteenth-century sacred choral music, exploring the richness, warmth and spiritual depth of the Romantic tradition. Central to the programme is Josef Rheinberger’s 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐞, one of the finest achievements of Romantic choral writing. Written for double choir a cappella, the work weaves warm harmonies and finely balanced counterpoint, expressing devotion through architectural balance and flowing melodic lines.
