This program brings together arias and ensembles from the great operatic tradition, performed by voices that are already dazzling audiences across Europe.

Alejandro Baliñas Vieites – Bass, Baritone (Spain)

Born in Santiago de Compostela, Alejandro Baliñas Vieites represents the new generation of opera singers combining technical mastery with magnetic stage presence. A graduate of the Conservatory of the Liceu in Barcelona and a scholarship holder of the Ferrer-Salat Foundation, he has honed his artistry under the guidance of renowned teachers such as Carlos Chausson and Manuel Burgueras.

Alejandro has already built an impressive repertoire, including Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte, Alidoro in La Cenerentola, Seneca in L’incoronazione di Poppea, Zuniga in Carmen, and Marchese in La forza del destino. He made his debut at the Paris National Opera in productions of Salome, Carmen, and Hamlet, and in 2023 was awarded both the AROP Prize and the Cercle Carpeaux Prize of the Opéra National de Paris. In the 2023/24 season, he became part of the first permanent troupe of the Paris Opera – a distinction reserved for only the most promising talents.

Teona Todua – Soprano (Ukraine/Georgia)

Born in Donetsk to a Georgian family, Teona Todua began her musical path as a pianist before devoting herself to opera. She studied at the P. Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music in Kyiv, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in opera singing, and enriched her experience at the Opera Academy of the Polish National Opera and the Académie de l’Opéra national de Paris.

Her talent has been recognized worldwide: she is the 1st Prize winner of the Wassyl Slipak Competition in Lviv, 3rd Prize winner at Grandi Voci in Istanbul, and most recently, a laureate of the prestigious Neue Stimmen Competition (2024). In March 2023, she was invited to the Metropolitan Opera in New York for an artistic exchange with the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program. Today, she continues to expand her career with recitals and operatic performances throughout Europe, captivating audiences with her radiant tone, emotional depth, and technical brilliance.
