Internationally acclaimed conductor Anu Tali leads the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra in a riveting programme of exhilarating music. Suite on Estonian Dances by Estonian composer, conductor and choreographer Eduard Tubin encapsulates the country’s folk idiom with a contemporary flair. Young, gifted pianist Dmitry Ishkanov interprets Rachmaninoff’s gem Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, in a display of virtuosity and lyricism. The audience is transported into a fascinating world of wonders with Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8, the epitome of liveliness and joie de vivre.
An exclusive Shuttle Service will be provided for patrons at a nominal fee of €2. The service will run from Vjal ir-Re Dwardu VII (near the Tritoni Fountain) to the Mediterranean Conference Centre departing between 6:30PM till 7.15PM.
