iSkateRink offers a truly unique, elevated winter experience right in the heart of the historic core of Rabat.

Located on the stunning terrazzo rooftop of the 18th century Palazzo Xara, this attraction provides a perfect blend of high-end novelty and festive fun, catering to all ages during the holiday season. Guests can skate on the synthetic ice rink while enjoying their favourite tunes, from Michael Bublé’s Christmas classics to Disney music, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Rabat’s historic streets.

The venue is strategically positioned to complement Natalis Notabilis, Malta’s Christmas Market (running December 5th–14th), and is set to attract a high volume of attendees, particularly during the busy weekend periods, making it a must-visit elevated attraction in Malta this Christmas.

Organiser/Promoter/Venue (“Organiser”) Terms and Conditions

In addition to those terms and conditions outlined below by ShowsHappening, any attendee of the Event agrees that:

Participants are required to arrive at least 10 minutes before the session start time.

A valid ticket must be presented for entry to the Event. Removing, altering, defacing, or copying any part of the ticket may invalidate it. Tickets are valid only for the allocated session time and cannot be resold for commercial gain. If the Organiser believes a ticket has been resold commercially, it may be invalidated and entry refused.

Skating is undertaken entirely at your own risk. Skating carries an inherent risk of falls, collisions, injury, and damage. All skaters and visitors must follow the rules and safety instructions provided by the skate rink team. All skaters must wear the authorised footwear provided.
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose behaviour is considered unsafe or poses a risk to themselves or others. The rink is a shared public space; please skate responsibly and respect other users at all times.

The Organiser accepts no responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage unless it results directly and foreseeably from a breach of the Organiser’s legal obligations. The Organiser is not responsible for the actions of third parties, including exhibitors or performers, and does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings. By entering the rink, attendees agree to indemnify the Organiser against any resulting liability.

Sessions are timed. Late arrivals may not be accommodated and will not receive additional time or compensation.

Personal footwear, food, and beverages are not permitted on the rink.
Pets are not allowed on the premises except for authorised service animals.

The Event is outdoors and will proceed in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by the Safety Officer. No refunds will be issued due to bad weather. If the Event is rescheduled, changed, moved, or cancelled, the Organiser is not responsible for any resulting travel, accommodation, or related costs.

Attendees may be filmed & photographed, for publication, promotional, or security purposes by the Organiser or authorised partners.

The relevant Maltese law will apply to these Terms and Conditions and Courts of Malta will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to the Terms and Conditions.

ShowsHappening Terms and Conditions

You acknowledge that ShowsHappening is a booking platform and is not authorised to issue refunds unless instructed to do so by the Organiser/Promoter/Venue. In the case of a refund being issued for tickets bought, refund will be issued on the ticket face value (excluding booking fee or charge). If you opted for a Refundable Booking the terms and conditions found at refundable.me/extended/en shall apply.
You acknowledge that ShowsHappening provides a payment method where payment is collected on behalf of the Organiser/Promoter/Venue as duly authorised, however your contractual relationship other than for the booking fee and the service we offer shall be with the Organiser/Promoter/Venue. ShowsHappening is not responsible for the organisation or staging of the Event and has no control over the cancellation or rescheduling of or for material changes to any Event.
ShowsHappening shall provide you with all information and any changes to your ticket as soon as reasonably possible.
By completing a purchase, you are confirming that you have read any specific terms and conditions which the Organiser/Promoter/Venue has issued with regard to this event.
All tickets or passes should be checked on purchase. Whilst every effort shall be made mistakes cannot always be rectified. Accordingly, please check your Tickets carefully on receipt and contact us immediately if there is a mistake.
ShowsHappening is not responsible for the actions or failures of any Organiser/Promoter/Venue. Under no circumstances shall we be liable for death, personal injury, loss or damage to property suffered by you or your guests arising out of attendance at an Event, unless caused by our negligence
In the event of any inconsistency with the terms of the Organiser/Promoter/Venue, those of ShowsHappening shall prevail.
