Description
“Dreams and Dances” is a program born from my desire to explore the emotional spectrum of classical music — from the deeply introspective to the wildly expressive. Each piece in the program speaks to a different element of human experience: dreams, longing, playfulness, and passion. I wanted to create a journey that flows naturally, beginning with the structured beauty of Bach’s Marcello Concerto and evolving through the poetic nightscapes of Chopin, the mystical sound world of Scriabin, and the romantic intensity of Rachmaninov.
As the evening progresses, the program drifts into Debussy’s delicate impressionism, Bartók’s earthy folk rhythms, and concludes with the meditative minimalism of Philip Glass. Each work was chosen for its musical beauty and for how it invites the listener to feel, to dream, to dance, to reflect.

I also love to bring my audience closer to the music through short, informal introductions before each set. These mini-lectures help demystify the works, offering insight into the composer’s mind or the historical and emotional context of the music. Understanding deepens the connection, and when listeners feel connected, classical music becomes a shared experience rather than something distant.
My goal with Dreams and Dances is to create a space where music speaks directly to the heart, and everyone in the room feels a little more alive.
