MPO Resident Conductor Michael Laus leads the orchestra in a classics concert featuring an eclectic selection of well-known pieces. The programme includes symphonic poems Les Préludes by Franz Liszt, The Moldau, also known as My Fatherland, by Czech composer Bedřich Smetana and Finnish composer Jean Sibelius’ Finlandia.

Myth and legend also feature in the work by Modest Mussorgsky, Night on Bald Mountain, which achieved popularity following Rimsky Korsakov’s orchestral arrangement, and Jacques Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld Overture.

Organiser/Promoter/Venue (“Organiser”) Terms and Conditions

In addition to those terms and conditions outlined below by ShowsHappening, any attendee of the Event agrees that:

No refund on tickets will be made under any circumstances unless otherwise instructed by the event organiser. In the case of a refund being issued for tickets bought, refund will be issued on the Ticket face value, and ShowsHappening booking fee will NOT be refunded.
Venue Owner reserves the right without refund or compensation to refuse admission to any persons whose conduct is disorderly or unbecoming.
The Promoter may add, withdraw or substitute artists and/or vary advertised programmes, event times, seating arrangements and audience capacity without prior notice.
The Promoter/Venue Owner may postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the Event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other causes beyond his reasonable control.
Information is collected from those registering with www.showshappening.com in order to facilitate ticket purchase or other services available. This information is collected and used in accordance with ShowsHappening's Privacy Policy, which forms part of these conditions.
In an Event is cancelled, postponed or unsatisfactory, or the Buyer is not allowed to watch the Event for any reason, SHOWSHAPPENING cannot be held responsible for any liability including any costs whatsoever incurred by the Buyer in connection with the said event.
It is your responsibility to check your tickets.
Neither the Promoters nor ShowsHappening will be responsible for any damages, loss or injuries incurred at the Event, including loss or damage to property, however caused.
Unauthorised photography, video, audio recording and transmission of any Event, the performers and the performances is strictly prohibited.
By purchasing a ticket you will be deemed to have consented to being photographed, filmed and recorded. Your image may be used by the promoters in any materials relating to the Event and any future promotions. You will not be entitled to any compensation for this.
Late-comers may be refused admission or asked to wait and enter in appropriate moments to avoid causing disruption. No refund/exchange will be offered in such instances.
Protocols will be adopted to adhere with Standards for Indoor Cinemas and Theatres published by the Superintendent of Public Health.
As per guidelines, only 1 number of clusters of 2 seats can be purchased.
Upon entry to the Event, You will be subject to temperature checks. Anyone with a temperature over 37.2°C will not be allowed to access the Event Area. You will also reminded to sanitize your hands.
You are requested to adhere with all social distancing guidelines at all times, including at entry and exit (reflected also in the seating plan adopted).
You are requested to wear a face mask and/or visor throughout the Event.
