The Malta Summer Festival comes to a fitting conclusion with an eclectic programme of ballet music from the operatic repertoire featuring a number of local and foreign dance companies.

 The concert takes the audience on a journey around the globe, from Italy to Egypt, Czech Republic and Spain with a selection of orchestral dances from some of the most popular operas including Verdi’s Aida, Ponchielli’s La Gioconda, Smetana’s The Bartered Bride and Bizet’s Carmen coming to an end with the energetic Bacchanale.


This concert is part of the Malta Summer Festival presented by the MPO in collaboration with Arts Council Malta and Malta Tourism Authority with the support of Hilton Malta and the Ministry of Gozo. 


Dress Code: Smart casual (suggested)


An exclusive Shuttle Service will be provided for patrons at a nominal fee of €2. The service will run from Vjal ir-Re Dwardu VII (near the Tritoni Fountain) to Fort St Elmo, departing at 7.30PM. The return leg leaves at the end of the concert. Pre-booking is required on events@maltaorchestra.com
