Ticket Terms and Conditions – Updated 1 May 2025

1. Event Organiser

a. The following Terms and Conditions govern the acquisition of tickets for the Isle of MTV main event taking place in Malta on Tuesday 15 July 2025 (the “Event”). These terms and conditions apply to you (“you”, the “ticketholder”) and your guests.

b. Ticket sales to the Event are managed by ShowsHappening Ltd a company registered in Malta with company number 60399 whose registered office is at Level 3, Goldfield House, Triq Dun-Karm, Birkirkara, Malta BKR9030 (“ShowsHappening”) on behalf of Viacom International Media Networks U.K. Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 10344647 located at 17-29 Hawley Crescent, London, United Kingdom, NW1 8TT (“Paramount”). Once you access the ShowsHappening platform to obtain the tickets, they will be issued to you (the ticketholder) free of charge on behalf of Paramount.

c. All ticket acquisitions are subject to the standard terms and conditions of ShowsHappening, the venue’s terms and conditions, as well as Paramount’s own terms and conditions of entry to the Event set out below. In the event of any inconsistency, Paramount’s terms and conditions will prevail.

2. Eligibility and scope

a. You can only acquire tickets to the Event if you are seventeen (17) years of age or over. Please note that any attendees aged under fourteen (14) must be accompanied by their parent or guardian aged eighteen (18) years or over. One (1) adult can accompany up to three (3) children aged under fourteen (14).

b. Attendees who are (i) between fourteen (14) and sixteen (16) years old and (ii) unaccompanied by a parent or guardian aged eighteen (18) years old or over, must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian in order to attend. Consent must be shown by way of a signed consent form.  Signed consent forms will only be accepted in printed form. Unaccompanied attendees between 14 and 16 who do not provide a signed consent form on request will be refused admission.

c. For attendees who require carer support, their carers must be eighteen (18) years old or over.

d. Ticket sales will be open until all tickets sell out. Paramount may release further tickets, subject to availability and at

Paramount’s discretion.

e. You (the ticketholder) are permitted to acquire up to a maximum of four (4) free standard tickets: one (1) for yourself and three(3) for your guests.

f. Standard tickets will be in the form of e-tickets for you to print at home or display on your mobile phone. The ticketholder’s name will be integrated into each ticket the ticketholder acquires. You as ticketholder must enter the venue with your guests. If the named ticketholder is not among of the one (1) to four (4) people trying to enter the venue, neither the ticketholder nor the guest(s) will be allowed entry. The photo ID of the ticketholder and all their guests aged fourteen and over WILL be checked on entry (only a valid passport, driving licence or national ID card will be acceptable for these purposes).

g. Only tickets issued by Paramount’s official ticketing partner ShowsHappening are valid. Tickets obtained in any other way are invalid. Tickets are strictly non-transferable and must not be exchanged or given or sold to a third party.

3. Entry to the Event

a. Entry to the Event is subject to available venue occupant capacity and is on a strictly first come first served basis. Holding a ticket does not guarantee entry to the Event.

b. This is a standing event. There are no seats available. If you require accessible seating requirements due to disability, please note that such arrangements are subject to (i) the venue’s limitations and/or restrictions and (ii) the ticketholder and/or guest providing evidence of their disabled ID Card or an analogous official document being shown, and the venue may not always be able to accommodate your needs. Please see further the Accessibility section in the Frequently Asked Questions on the Isle of MTV website.

c. The following items are strictly prohibited in the venue: pushchairs, crash helmets, professional audio/video recording equipment; rucksacks or bags bigger than A4 (21cm X 30cm or 8 inches X 12 inches)/magazine size; flags on poles; promotional materials or banners; glass of any kind (including perfume bottles); alcoholic drinks (other than those bought within the venue by anyone aged 17 or over (Proof of age may be required in the acceptable forms listed at paragraph 2c above)); drugs or illegal substances of any kind; any form of weaponry or items that could be adapted for that purpose (including pointed instruments, screw drivers, syringes, scissors, guns, etc.); fireworks; flares; smoke devices; laser pens; selfie sticks; drones; aerosols; klaxons / air horns; unlicensed, counterfeit or illegal merchandise; or anything else that Paramount deem to be dangerous, unsafe or could restrict the view or ruin the enjoyment of other ticket holders. Any ticket holder found in possession of any of the foregoing items will have the item confiscated, without liability, and may be refused admission and/or ejected from the event at Paramount’s discretion. Anyone found with a dangerous or illegal item (including but not limited to illegal drugs or weapons) will be reported to the police. You must not bring food into the venue unless authorised by Paramount’s security forpersonal or medical reasons (evidence of any such medical requirements may be requested on demand).

d. You and your guests may each bring up to four (4) bottles of water or soft drinks (in plastic unopened bottles up to 500ml size only) per person into the venue.

e. Paramount and venue management can refuse entry to, or remove any person from, the venue who is behaving in an inappropriate manner or appears to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. The right of admission is reserved.

f. If you cannot display a valid ticket, or valid ID if requested, you will not be admitted. There will be no re-admittance if you choose to leave.

g. You acknowledge that you may be filmed, photographed or sound-recorded by or on behalf of Paramount as a member of the audience and the film, footage, sounds recordings and/or photographs may be commercially broadcast,

published or otherwise distribution in all media worldwide forever without payment to you. 

h. You agree to cooperate fully with Paramount’s representatives and follow all instructions and rules relating to the event (including, if Paramount deems it necessary, to move you to a different part of the venue’s audience).

i. To ensure our audience’s safety, Paramount and/or the venue management will conduct security searches both before you enter the venue and may do so at any time during the event, which may include searching in your bag and/or outer garments and/or anything else you may be carrying with you. The venue does not provide a cloakroom facility and limitation on bag sizes will be enforced.

j. Event activities may not be confined to the main stage area and may occur anywhere within the venue.

k. Some areas of the audience may have a restricted view.

l. You may use your smartphone for personal, non-commercial purposes only. The use of cameras, videos or any other sort of audio, visual or audio-visual recording equipment is strictly forbidden during the event.

m. Neither Paramount nor its sponsors or the venue shall be liable for any property lost, stolen or damaged in or around the venue.

n. Flags, emblems, clothing or other paraphernalia of a political or racist nature, or anything promoting hate speech of any kind, will not be permitted on site, and possession of such items will be notified to the authorities.

o. No sports jerseys, for example rugby or football shirts.

p. To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither Paramount nor the venue accepts any liability for any other loss (whether direct or indirect) incurred by the ticketholder or their guest in connection with the event.

q. Strobe lighting, pyrotechnics, lasers and smoke effects may be used as part of the event.

r. The law prohibits and punishes the production, distribution and sale of forged tickets and unofficial merchandise.

s. Any change in relation to the event will be communicated through Paramount’s social media channels and/or Paramount’s ticketing partner ShowsHappening for the purposes of this event.

t. In the event of inclement weather, unless deemed unsafe by Paramount to continue, the show will go on. If it rains ticketholders are allowed to wear waterproof clothing such as hoodies, anoraks and ponchos, but umbrellas, parasols, tents,

gazebos, windbreaks or any other large items that could obstruct the view of other ticketholders are strictly prohibited and will be dealt with in the same manner as those prohibited items in term 3(b).

u. All attendees will be required to comply with any COVID entry requirements and specific COVID requirements of the Maltese government and/or local authority rules if in place at the time of the event.

4. Personal Data

a. When you obtain your tickets via Paramount’s ticketing partner ShowsHappening, you will be prompted to submit certain personal data including your date of birth for the purposes outlined below.

b. Paramount , Malta Tourism Authority’s (“Visit Malta”) and ShowsHappening will process the personal data collected through the website for the purposes of managing the tickets sales to the Event, issuing your e-tickets to you, and for their own respective internal market research, analysis and related purposes. Film footage, photographs and sound recordings of the event that may include your image, likeness, and/or voice will be used to broadcast and publicize the event and as part of Paramount’s Visit Malta’s individual publicity and marketing activities. The legal basis of the data processing is the performance of these terms and conditions and in furtherance of Paramount’s, ShowsHappening’s and Visit Malta’s legitimate interests in organising and producing this and other similar events. Your personal data will be retained by Paramount, ShowsHappening and Visit Malta for a reasonable period to fulfil the purpose for which such personal information was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, and such personal information may be stored in countries outside of the EU (including, without limitation, the USA).

c. You have the right to access the personal information ShowsHappening, Visit Malta and Paramount holds about you and ask ShowsHappening, Visit Malta and Paramount to correct, erase, object to, or request that we limit or restrict certain processing of your personal information through the means described in ShowsHappening’s, Paramount’s and Visit Malta’s privacy policies. If we are not able to address the concerns, entrants have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority where you live, work, or where the issue took place.

5. Cookies on the ticket portal

As the ticketing function on the Isle of Malta website is operated by ShowsHappening, when you obtain your tickets you consent to the cookies and technologies stored on your browser or device by ShowsHappening.  For more information on how ShowsHappening collects information about you, visit the ShowsHappening’s Privacy and Cookie Policy (see https://www.showshappening.com/home/privacy).

6. Customer Assistance

a. Any queries regarding the purchase of tickets can be addressed to ShowsHappening’s customer service team via iomtv@showshappening.com.

b. Any general queries about the Events can be addressed to: isleofmtv@vimn.com.

• You acknowledge that  ShowsHappening  is a booking platform. 
• You acknowledge that  ShowsHappening  provides a booking method on behalf of the Organiser/Promoter/Venue as duly authorised, however your contractual relationship shall be with the Organiser/Promoter/Venue.  ShowsHappening  is not in any way responsible for the organisation or staging of the Event and has no control over the cancellation or rescheduling of or for material changes to any Event.
• ShowsHappening shall provide you with all information and any changes to your ticket as soon as reasonably possible.
• By making a booking, you are confirming that you have read any specific terms and conditions which the Organiser/Promoter/Venue has issued with regard to this event.
• All tickets should be checked on purchase. Whilst every effort shall be made mistakes cannot always be rectified. Accordingly, please check your Tickets carefully on receipt and contact us immediately if there isa mistake.
• ShowsHappening is not responsible for the actions or failures of any Organiser/Promoter/Venue. Under no circumstances shall we be liable for death, personal injury, loss or damage to property suffered by you or your guests arising out of attendance at an Event, unless caused by our negligence.
• In the event of any inconsistency with the terms of the Organiser/Promoter/Venue, those of Paramount shall prevail.
• Information is collected from those registering with www.showshappening.com in order to facilitate ticket purchase or other services available. This information is collected and used in accordance with  ShowsHappening Privacy Policy , which forms part of these conditions.
