Description

The first in a series of concerts happening at the Wignacourt museum the evening zooms in on the 18th century temperament exploring the works of classical composers like Mozart and Beethoven surrounded by art from their era.

The rich and indulgent music of the night will explore a different side of Malta through a peek into the luxurious balls of the Knight’s courts that is contrasted by the sombre Catholic perception of the Knights Hospitaller evidenced in the art at the museum.

The concert seeks to replicate this luxury by bringing forth the notes that would have been played in the courts like those of Wignacourt while exploring today’s contemporary luxury through food, drink, and more.
