27 APRIL – ROMANTIC VIOLIN

One of Russia’s most outstanding internationally acclaimed violinists of his generation - Haik Kazazyan, and the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra’s Leader and acclaimed Maltese violinist Marcelline Agius, will feature as soloists in a romantic evening performing works for Violin and String Orchestra by F. Mendelssohn and A. Shor, with the renowned La Primavera Kazan Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Italian conductor Gianluca Marciano. Works in the programme include Shor’s ‘Seascapes’ and Mendelssohn’s String Symphony No.11 and Concerto for Violin and String Orchestra at this concert being held at Robert Samut Hall in Floriana.
