Description

Only the most exceptional young talents can last the tough course set for Belgium’s International Queen Elisabeth Competition. Violinist Stella Chen outperformed her peers at the prestigious event’s 2012 edition, winning audience hearts and the outright title with sublime performances. She joins the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra under critically acclaimed Italian conductor Gianluca Marciano in Phantasms. The tuneful three-movement concerto, by Festival Composer-in-Residence, Alexey Shor, conjures up striking aural images of daydreams, apparitions and spectres. Shor’s melodic inventiveness also runs through the Suite from his ballet Crystal Palace. Soprano Carmen Giannattasio, in high demand at the world’s leading opera houses, helps tell of the forced marriage of two jesters at the court of Russia’s Empress Anna Ioannovna. Verdi’s exhilarating overtures set the dramatic tone for a programme packed with expressive contrasts.

The InClassica Malta International Music Festival is organised by the European Foundation for Support of Culture (EUFSC), led by Konstantin Ishkhanov, in collaboration with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO).

Dear classical music lovers, within the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizer will follow all the recommendations from the Ministry for Health and make sure that everyone will be safe at the venue.

If the epidemiological situation in the country will call into question the holding of the planned concerts or If the situation deteriorates, the concerts will be postponed to a later date or the organizer will return to you the money (excl booking fee).

Organiser/Promoter/Venue (“Organiser”) Terms and Conditions

In addition to those terms and conditions outlined below by ShowsHappening, any attendee of the Event agrees that:

No refund on tickets will be made under any circumstances unless otherwise instructed by the event organiser. In the case of a refund being issued for tickets bought, refund will be issued on the Ticket face value, and ShowsHappening booking fee will NOT be refunded.
Venue Owner reserves the right without refund or compensation to refuse admission to any persons whose conduct is disorderly or unbecoming.
The Promoter may add, withdraw or substitute artistes and/or vary advertised programmes, event times, seating arrangements and audience capacity without prior notice.
The Promoter/Venue Owner may postpone, cancel,interrupt or stop the event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other causes beyond his reasonable control.
Information is collected from those registering with www.showshappening.com in order to facilitate ticket purchase or other services available. This information is collected and used in accordance with ShowsHappening's Privacy Policy, which forms part of these conditions.
In the event of an event being cancelled, postponed or unsatisfactory, or in the event that Buyer is not allowed to watch the event for any reason, SHOWSHAPPENING cannot be held responsible for any liability including any costs whatsoever incurred by the Buyer in connection with the said event.
