Cardiff’s Chesus now also releases his music as Earl Jeffers: that music is raw house to put it succinctly, and has so far come on influential labels like Gerd’s 4Lux and Local Talk as well as Doc Daneeka’s Ten Thousand Yen and Addison Grooves’ Lost in Translation. 

As a keen record collector and crate digger, a great sense of history subtly permeates this man’s work; meaning old samples or Roy Ayres are as likely to crop up in his sounds as are forward facing synth motifs or classic 90s vibes. As such, the man’s DJ sets are also wide reaching affairs that call on years of music appreciation and have seen him play all across the UK, Germany and the Netherlands in recent times.
