Get to know the sight-seeing on the mountains of the island with a tour that's going to be unforgettable! Enjoy our luxury-class, air-conditioned coaches and the company of the local guide who will escort you through the day, narrating the interesting, beautiful history of the island.

Well pick you up from where you're staying, and start our tour at 10:00 in the morning from the western side of the island, enjoying the ride through Tsilivi, Planos and Katastari villages. At Alykes, our first stop, we may admire the view to the north-western part of the island. We'll also see the salt marshes in Alykes. Our next stop is at the largest local winery, where we will be served with local wine and delicacies, while wine experts will show us around and explain the way of making wine. After travelling about 15 minutes, we'll reach the famous Blue Caves and have a tour on small boats to admire those wonders of Nature with their sparkle and colours. You'll probably think you're in Paradise!

The culmination of our trip is the world-famous Shipwreck. Who is it that doesn't recognize the most famous beach in Greece? We will admire a view to the beach from the top of the surrounding cliff - don't miss the opportunity to take some pictures!

After the Shipwreck, we arrive at Anafonitria, listening to our guide narrating the story of each area we pass by. In Anafonitria we will visit the monastery where St. Dionissios spent a part of his life. Now, it is time for our lunch at a tavern with traditional delicacies and locally produced wine. After our lunch, and having reloaded our cameras, we visit one of the oldest villages on the island, Volimes. There we can buy hand made embroidery, handicrafts tablecloths and lace-work.

Next we visit some other old villages, like Exo Hora, Kiliomenos and Agios Leon. Our last stop is in Macherado. We will visit the church of the Thaumaturgy St. Mavra, and listen to the interesting and moving story of the Saint and her church.

Organiser/Promoter/Venue (“Organiser”) Terms and Conditions

In addition to those terms and conditions outlined below by ShowsHappening, any attendee of the Event agrees that:

Terms of Travelling

This ticket is personal, bears a name, may not be transferred and is valid only of the class and the travel for which it was issued.
The fare does not include catering.
The passenger should be at the embarkation area of the ship half an hour (1/2) before departure. If the passenger is not in time for sailing, he is not entitled to a refund of the fare, whereas if he states 24 hours before sailing his intention not to travel for any reason, he is entitled to refund of the half fare.
In case of loss of the ticket the fare will be not refunded.
As long as the passenger kept his luggage under his custody the shipping company is not responsible for any damages or loss thereof.
The shipping company will not be responsible for any delay in sailing, deviation and not keeping of the normal route, due to bad weather conditions or others of the Ministry of Merchant Marino or the Harbour Authorities, or due to force majeure.
It is forbidden to the passenger to carry explosives, Inflammable, incendiary and dangerous in general materials.
The passenger should comply with the captain's and the crew orders regarding the maintenance of order and the safety of the ship.
The passengers should address any complaint during the travel to the ship's captain.
If for any reason the travel is called off due to the ship's responsibility, the fare is refunded without any further obligation of the shipping company towards the passenger.

You acknowledge that ShowsHappening is a booking platform and is not authorised to issue refunds unless instructed to do so by the Organiser/Promoter/Venue. In the case of a refund being issued for tickets bought, refund will be issued on the ticket face value (excluding booking fee or charge). If you opted for a Refundable Booking the terms and conditions found at refundable.me/extended/en shall apply.
You acknowledge that ShowsHappening provides a payment method where payment is collected on behalf of the Organiser/Promoter/Venue as duly authorised, however your contractual relationship other than for the booking fee and the service we offer shall be with the Organiser/Promoter/Venue. ShowsHappening is not responsible for the organisation or staging of the Event and has no control over the cancellation or rescheduling of or for material changes to any Event.
ShowsHappening shall provide you with all information and any changes to your ticket as soon as reasonably possible.
By completing a purchase, you are confirming that you have read any specific terms and conditions which the Organiser/Promoter/Venue has issued with regard to this event.
All tickets or passes should be checked on purchase. Whilst every effort shall be made mistakes cannot always be rectified. Accordingly, please check your Tickets carefully on receipt and contact us immediately if there is a mistake.
ShowsHappening is not responsible for the actions or failures of any Organiser/Promoter/Venue. Under no circumstances shall we be liable for death, personal injury, loss or damage to property suffered by you or your guests arising out of attendance at an Event, unless caused by our negligence
In the event of any inconsistency with the terms of the Organiser/Promoter/Venue, those of ShowsHappening shall prevail.
