Bass Culture is a local organization that is introducing dub events to our islands. We want to offer something new and different to what's already available in the local scene and we know that people who love reggae and other underground electronic music will love our slinky bass lines. We aim at making events for people who are love to dance and have a good time The first Bass Culture event featured Weeding Dub, a Dub and Steppa artist from France who rumbled Mosta’s Razzett l-Ahmar on October 19th. Since then we’ve organized a few nights at different venues around the island, amongst which a special night called Ball-a-Dub featuring prominent Sicilian reggae and dub dj and sound system owner from Catania, Ciurrida. Our latest big event featured a memorable performance by French dub genius Mayd Hubb.
