The Malta Summer Festival comes to a fitting conclusion with an eclectic programme of ballet music from the operatic repertoire featuring a number of local and foreign dance companies.

 The concert takes the audience on a journey around the globe, from Italy to Egypt, Czech Republic and Spain with a selection of orchestral dances from some of the most popular operas including Verdi’s Aida, Ponchielli’s La Gioconda, Smetana’s The Bartered Bride and Bizet’s Carmen coming to an end with the energetic Bacchanale.


This concert is part of the Malta Summer Festival presented by the MPO in collaboration with Arts Council Malta and Malta Tourism Authority with the support of Hilton Malta and the Ministry of Gozo.

  • No refund on tickets will be made under any circumstances unless otherwise instructed by the event organiser. In the case of a refund being issued for tickets bought, refund will be issued on the Ticket face value, and ShowsHappening booking fee will NOT be refunded.

  • Information is collected from those registering with www.showshappening.com in order to facilitate ticket purchase or other services available. This information is collected and used in accordance with ShowsHappening's Privacy Policy, which forms part of these conditions.
  • In the event of an event being cancelled, postponed or unsatisfactory, or in the event that Buyer is not allowed to watch the event for any reason, SHOWSHAPPENING cannot be held responsible for any liability including any costs whatsoever incurred by the Buyer in connection with the said event.
  • It is the ticket holder's responsibility to check the tickets.
  • Neither the Promoters nor ShowsHappening will be responsible for any damages, loss or injuries incurred at the Event, including loss or damage to property, however caused.
  • Unauthorised photography, video, audio recording and transmission of any Event, the performers and the performances is strictly prohibited.
  • By purchasing a ticket you will be deemed to have consented to being photographed, filmed and recorded. Your image may be used by the promoters in any materials relating to the Event and any future promotions. You will not be entitled to any compensation for this.
  • Late-comers may be refused admission or asked to wait and enter in appropriate moments to avoid causing disruption. No refund/exchange will be offered in such instances.
